After 25 successful years in national/international conference management, within multiple fortune 100 companies, Federal and State Government Agencies, Corporations and National Associations, as well as a successful career in "Hospitality Management," Brigitte wanted to utilize her proven capabilities and mentor in the meetings' and hospitality industries.

In April 2008 she left Site Solutions Worldwide to create a "virtual meetings' and hospitality arena" of some of the best professionals she has worked with over the years.

These professionals work together sharing their experience with the meeting and hospitality clients. MIE encourages mentoring that results in long lasting, positive, effects.

Brigitte has extensive knowledge of sales & marketing processes, retail operations, personnel management, financial analysis, business acquisitions, development within a matrix-based organizational framework.

Her strengths include a high energy level along with a passion for strategy and tactics-based goal setting. She has a strong initiative, respect for accountability and "team" motivation for employees. She values meeting deadlines and accomplishing company projects.

Founder, CEO/Meetings Consultant

Founded Site Solutions as a business from concept in 1997. The original goal was to work with clients and management at the property level, to create successful meetings.

Work included a variety of clients from three main sectors; the Association market, the Corporate market and the Government market. Site Solutions Worldwide served each of these markets on a specialized basis, with contract negotiations and hotel site selection.

Through skilled negotiating, she saved some clients over $100,000 each meeting. She managed the business, working effectively toward its success in spite of conflicting times such as September 11th, Hurricane Katrina.

She maintained efficient branch operations by demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills. Brigitte had expanded knowledge within the three market segments, an exceptional network of contacts, outstanding negotiating skills in an "ever changing" market place.

Brigitte has negotiated and supervised multi million dollar budgets, vendor service maintenance agreements with full regulatory compliance. Additionally, she designed clients' projects management, successfully completed projects on time and within budget for national/international conferences/events, trade shows, global meetings, staff functions, for 10-30,000 attendees.

Brigitte was responsible for hiring and training staff resulting in a Full Service Meeting Company. Training responsibilities included:

Site Solutions achieved 3 million dollars in sales by 2007 with a total of 12 employees.

October 1993 - January 1997Sheraton Harbor Island Resort
Associate Director of Catering Sales and
Convention Meetings, San Diego, CA

Selected to be on a re-opening team after a 65 million renovation. Responsible for Sales & Catering for all corporate, state, tour and travel, regional, national associations for a 1050 room world class resort.

Coordinated and attended various trade shows and promotional/exhibit events. Liased with Director of Food and Beverage, Executive Chef, Banquets, Front Office, Exhibit Trade Show management staffs. Exceeded Food & Beverage goals for 4 years in a row by 15 to 32% resulting in numerous corporate awards.

Sheraton Meeting space - 73,000 square feet, 42 meetings rooms, exhibit hall of 18,700 square feet.

February 1993 - October 1993Hyatt Regency Hotel
(opened hotel)

Convention Services,
Catering Sales San Diego, CA

Successfully sold and coordinated conventions and catering business for this 875 room luxury hotel. Meeting space included 50,000 square feet with 2 main ballrooms. This exclusive catering/convention position was created based on my extensive experience; in turn I exceeded my goal of $750,000 in food & beverage revenues.

April 1991 - February 1993Doubletree Hotel (Formerly The
Omni Hotel) at Horton Plaza

Director of Convention Sales, San Diego, CA

Organized Sales/Convention department, hired new staff and re-designed sales & incentive programs for this 450 room hotel.

Meeting space occupied 20,000 square feet. Assisted in redoing hotel menus and services offered. Designed and directed production of meeting facilities brochure and all other marketing tools. Managed five sales and clerical staff members. Developed and responsible for department's budgets.
